Homeschool Workshops
Bring learning to life at Florida Children’s Museum!
Homeschool Workshops are designed to provide developmentally appropriate experiences and engaging content. These 90-minute, drop-off programs are led by FCM’s Education Team. Engage the mind and senses through an enriched learning experience, with a new theme each month! Cost: $20 for non-members, $18 for members. Registration ends the Monday before each class at 5 pm.
Workshops are hosted on Mondays and divided into two age groups, Curious Kids and STEAM Kids.
Monthly themes are the same for both age groups but feature different activities.
Curious Kids / Ages 4 – 6
Mondays, 10:30 – noon
Workshops will engage children’s five senses, expand language, and develop social skills through literature, hands-on materials, and peer interactions. Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2024 for the 2024 workshops, or 4 years old by Jan. 1, 2025 for the 2025 workshops.
STEAM Kids / Ages 6 – 10
Mondays, 1:30 pm – 3 pm
Workshops will include topics that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math, building children’s content knowledge and skills.
